Challenge
Anchor Bay East Marina already had an established brand identity and website, but needed a series of landing pages to promote a few premium services. The goal was to create a singular design that could be adapted for multiple offerings while remaining visually aligned with the existing brand (without being mistaken for the primary website). Anchor Bay supplied all imagery and video assets, most of which were captured in-house on employees’ mobile devices.
my role
My role included developing the page structure and visual direction, ensuring the content areas were flexible enough to support a variety of offerings while maintaining a cohesive look and feel aligned with the main Anchor Bay East Marina website. Approved XD mockups were then handed off to a separate development team.
Approach
While the amount of content varied by service, the content areas would remain consistent on each landing page: a service overview, video content, and a contact form.
I placed an above-the-fold call-to-action button to support lead generation and positioned videos in the sidebar to keep them accessible without making them the primary focal point. A large, single-column text area next to the sidebar allows the pages to accommodate varying amounts of text content.
Result
The initial Adobe XD mockup was approved by the client without revisions and handed off to the development team for implementation. Because these pages were intended for targeted promotional campaigns, I’m uncertain whether they are already in use or have yet to be deployed.
